Empowering youth through theatre at Bürgerbühne Hamburg
Kilian Palis co-founded Bürgerbühne Hamburg, a theatre association that empowers young people through creativity and performance. By fostering empathy and communication, it provides a supportive community where impactful plays, like one on the war in Syria involving students and refugees, spark meaningful dialogue and growth.
"As a co-founder I created the brand and took care of public relations and design, also took part in organising plays or attending rehearsals. Being engaged in a theatre association for young people is important because it fosters creativity, boosts confidence, and improves communication skills."

About The Bürgerbühne Hamburg
The Bürgerbühne Hamburg encourages teamwork and empathy by allowing young people to explore different perspectives and emotions. Additionally, it provides a sense of community and belonging, helping young individuals develop socially and emotionally.
The most important play was about the war in Syria, in which teenagers reacted to refugees that they were directly confronted with in their schools. The refugees also took part in the play.
