UP Writer's Retreat No. 5 has been designed to accommodate both US time zones and UK/Central European time zones (see details below).
In this retreat, we use writing to:
- Enhance authentic, impactful communication
- Build meaningful working relationships between participants
This latter aspect has been remarkably powerful on all the previous retreats. As one UP member, Lucy Wlodarczyk, put it, “It was amazing how in a very short time, complete strangers got so close.” Which led her to describe the experience as “a magical two days,” which is pretty flattering from a biophysicist!
Writing is a thinking tool. As English novelist E.M.Forster said: “How do I know what I think until I see what I say.” So, this is a retreat for all thinkers who want to articulate their thoughts ever more powerfully and engagingly, as much as it is for those with ‘writer’ as a job title.
Bond across the pond
This is an exciting opportunity for UP members and clients to forge closer relationships but please only request to join if you can commit to these 4 three-hour blocks of time. There will be a fun assignment to complete between the two weeks but it won’t take up much time. This retreat is free for all participants, and is the last in the series.
