Redesigning the digital home for the British Veterinary Zoological Society
UP Digital collaborated with the British Veterinary Zoological Society to redesign and rebuild their website at a significantly reduced rate. The new site provides a modern platform to support BVZS’s mission of advancing veterinary knowledge, promoting animal welfare, and fostering conservation efforts for wildlife and non-traditional companion animals.
About the British Veterinary Zoological Society
The British Veterinary Zoological Society (BVZS) is a not-for-profit organisation and specialist division of the British Veterinary Association (BVA) that focuses on the health, welfare, and conservation of free-ranging and captive wildlife, zoo animals, and non-traditional companion animals (NTCAs).
Established in 1961, BVZS has grown to include several hundred active members, including registered veterinary surgeons, veterinary nurses, students, and individuals from related academic fields. The society promotes veterinary knowledge and scientific advancement through conferences, meetings, and a robust international networking platform.
Members benefit from discounted rates for events, access to clinical resources, and participation in journal clubs and webinars. BVZS also engages in advocacy, providing position statements and guidance on issues such as the regulation of exotic pets and the responsible use of parasiticides.
